This Is It Masterclass

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of tickets and participation in the This Is It Masterclass events organized by BIOTEK USA CORP ("BIOTEK", "we", "our", or "us").

By purchasing a ticket, checking the box indicating acceptance of these Terms, or attending any This Is It Masterclass, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Event Description
The This Is It Masterclass is a professional educational event focused on permanent makeup and related techniques.
Tickets are sold for specific event dates and locations, including but not limited to:
- New York, NY
- Dallas, TX
- Miami, FL
Each ticket is valid only for the specific event selected during checkout.
2. Registration
Registration is confirmed only after:
- full payment has been successfully received; and
- the attendee receives a confirmation email.
BIOTEK reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration if payment cannot be verified or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated.
Registration is considered complete only after payment has been successfully processed.
4. Ticket Policy
Each ticket grants admission to one attendee for the selected event only.
Tickets may not be duplicated, resold by unauthorized parties, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of BIOTEK.
5. No Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Once a ticket has been purchased:
- it cannot be cancelled;
- it cannot be refunded;
- it cannot be exchanged;
- it cannot be credited toward another event;
- it cannot be transferred to another event date or city.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- illness;
- personal emergencies;
- scheduling conflicts;
- travel delays or cancellations;
- visa issues;
- transportation problems;
- weather conditions;
- failure to attend the event;
- any circumstance outside BIOTEK's control.
The attendee understands and expressly accepts that purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of this non-refundable policy.
6. Ticket Transfer
If an attendee is unable to attend, the ticket may be transferred to another individual.
To be valid:
- BIOTEK must receive written notice at least sixty (60) calendar days before the scheduled event;
- the request must include the full legal name and email address of the new attendee;
- BIOTEK must confirm the transfer in writing.
Transfer requests submitted fewer than sixty (60) days before the event may be refused.
This deadline is necessary to prepare attendee materials, badges, certificates, and event documentation.
Only one transfer is permitted per ticket.
7. Event Changes
BIOTEK reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
- venue;
- schedule;
- instructors;
- speakers;
- agenda;
- demonstrations;
- educational content.
Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation.
8. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If BIOTEK cancels an event due to circumstances within its control, BIOTEK may, at its sole discretion:
- reschedule the event; or
- transfer the attendee to another available This Is It Masterclass; or
- issue a refund of the ticket purchase price.
BIOTEK shall not be responsible for:
- airfare;
- hotel reservations;
- transportation;
- meals;
- visa expenses;
- lost income;
- or any incidental or consequential expenses.
9. Force Majeure
BIOTEK shall not be liable for delays, postponements, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- severe weather;
- government actions;
- epidemics or pandemics;
- acts of terrorism;
- civil unrest;
- strikes;
- power outages;
- venue closures;
- or any other force majeure event.
In such cases, BIOTEK may reschedule the event or offer attendance at another available event.
10. Attendee Responsibilities
Attendees are solely responsible for arranging and paying for:
- travel;
- accommodation;
- visas;
- insurance;
- meals;
- and all other personal expenses.
Attendees are also responsible for complying with all applicable travel and immigration requirements.
11. Code of Conduct
BIOTEK is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and safe learning environment.
Attendees agree to behave professionally throughout the event.
BIOTEK reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, intoxicated, or otherwise inappropriate.
Removal from the event shall not entitle the attendee to any refund.
12. Photography, Video & Media Release
The event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded.
By attending the event, attendees grant BIOTEK the irrevocable right to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media containing their likeness for educational, promotional, advertising, marketing, and commercial purposes worldwide, in any media now known or later developed, without further notice or compensation.
13. Intellectual Property
All educational materials, presentations, demonstrations, videos, manuals, slides, graphics, and other content presented during the event remain the exclusive intellectual property of BIOTEK or its licensors.
Attendees may not:
- reproduce;
- record;
- livestream;
- photograph educational content where prohibited by BIOTEK;
- distribute;
- publish;
- sell;
- or commercially exploit any event materials without prior written permission.
14. Certificates
Certificates of attendance or completion will be issued only to attendees who are properly registered.
Certificate information will be based on the registration details provided before the transfer deadline.
BIOTEK shall not be responsible for incorrect certificates resulting from inaccurate or late information submitted by attendees.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BIOTEK USA CORP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to:
- the purchase of a ticket;
- attendance at the event;
- cancellation or rescheduling of the event;
- or the use of any educational materials.
BIOTEK's total liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount actually paid by the attendee for the ticket.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between BIOTEK and the attendee regarding the purchase of tickets and participation in the This Is It Masterclass and supersede all prior communications or agreements relating to the event.
